Board of Directors

The Board of Directors are EMEPA members just like all other members and hold exactly the same amount of ownership as any other member of EMEPA - one share. The ten directors serve three year terms. There are two directors from each of the following counties: Clarke, Lauderdale, Kemper and Winston. Additionally, there is one at-large director representing Clarke and Lauderdale Counties and one representing Kemper and Winston Counties. The directors meet monthly to conduct the business of the Association and to make policy decisions. The long-term interests of the entire EMEPA membership are paramount in their considerations. The directors are elected on a rotating basis. The election normally takes place at the EMEPA annual meeting in October.
