Bank Draft Authorization Form (PDF)
By allowing EMEPA to draft your bank account for your power bill each month, you will save time and money. With a draft account, your power bill is paid on the last due date.
Bank draft is beneficial to you for several reasons:
By paying online, members can easily pay using a credit or debit card. This option saves you time and allows you to flexibility to pay your monthly bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. EMEPA offers a secure site for online bill pay. EMEPA's credit card payments are processed through SEDC, so your credit statement will say SEDC instead of EMEPA.
Levelized billing is one of the most popular payment options offered by EMEPA. This option was designed to help our members avoid the "ups and downs" of seasonal electricity bills. The amount you pay each month is based on your 12 month average electric usage keeping your monthly payment about the same from month to month.
Any residential member with an account in good standing is eligible for this option. Before you can begin Levelized billing, the account must have a 12-month history without being cutout and have a zero balance. Your bill each month will reflect your actual month's usage and your total account balance. Your payment amount will be based on the most recent 12 months average usage. Any increase or decrease in the amount of energy used will cause the Levelized billing amount to adjust.
