Annual Meeting

East Mississippi Electric Power Association hosts its Annual Meeting each year at the EMEPA Auditorium, 2128 MS Highway 39, Meridian, Mississippi, on the first Saturday of October at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of:

1. Hearing reports of Directors, Officers and/or Committees for the previous fiscal year;
2. Electing Directors to the Board of Directors for a three (3) year term; and
3. Transacting such other business as may properly come before the meeting.

In connection with the election of Directors, the following Members have been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors in accordance with the Bylaws of the Association:

1. Ches Brewer, Clarke County
2. Mike Fuller, Winston County
3. Lindsey Keene, Lauderdale County
4. Gloria Welch, North System At-Large

How to Complete your Annual Meeting Proxy

Official Annual Meeting Notices and Proxy Letters will mail to all EMEPA Members on July 1. If you cannot attend the meeting on Saturday, Oct. 3, you can appoint the Board of Directors or any other member as your proxy. This year, there are two ways to return your completed proxy:

1. Complete your proxy online [Hyperlink: directvote.net/EMEPA] using your Member Number and Election Passcode from the proxy letter. Follow the prompts to complete your proxy. Online voting ends at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29. For assistance, email support@directvote.net.
2. Sign and date the proxy letter, seal it in the provided postage-paid envelope, and mail it. Proxies must be received by Tuesday, Sept. 29.

One member from each EMEPA district will win a $500 electricity credit through a random drawing of those who return a completed proxy. Members attending the meeting will be eligible to win one of three credits up to $500 by registering at the meeting on October 3.
