Bank Draft Billing
Save time and money with our bank draft payment option. With bank draft, you will continue to receive a monthly bill statement, but it is automatically paid on the final due date each month.
Online Payment
Make payments 24 days a day, 7 days a week online using a credit or debit card. EMEPA’s credit card payments are processed through SEDC, so your credit statement will say SEDC instead of EMEPA. Create a new user account to get started with our convenient online payment option. Follow the prompts to set up your account. You will need your account number handy to get set up.
Smart Phone App
Our free app makes paying your bill easy and also lets you view your energy use or report an outage.
Kiosk
Kiosks are located at all offices for members who want to make payments after business hours or simply skip the line in the lobby. The kiosks accept cash or credit cards and payments are immediately posted to your account.
A kiosk is also available inside the Piggly Wiggly of Collinsville during the store’s normal business hours.
Phone
Call any of EMEPA’s offices to make a payment by phone using a credit or debit card.
Office
Visit any of EMEPA’s offices, located in Meridian, Quitman, DeKalb, and Louisville, to make an in-person payment using cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card. All offices have convenient drive-thru windows and are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Prepayment
Pre-Pay allows you to pay a certain amount upfront, and a text or email alert lets you know when you’re almost “out” of electricity. When enrolled in Pre-Pay, you will receive daily updates detailing the amount of electricity used and the current account balance for that day.

Levelized Billing
Levelized billing allows you to avoid the ups and downs of seasonal electricity bills. The amount you pay each month is based on your 12-month average electricity use, keeping your monthly payment about the same from month to month.
Residential member account must be in good standing.
Account must have a 12-month history.
Time of Use
EMEPA’s Time-of-Use (TOU) electric rate plan offers you a money-saving option for using your electric service during off-peak hours. By reducing your electric use during peak times, you have the opportunity to decrease your monthly energy costs without reducing the overall amount of electricity you use.
Review the TOU rate plan brochure for all the details and the schedule of on-peak and off-peak hours for residential accounts.
