Step 2 – Make Ready Construction
Make upgrades to get existing infrastructure ready for adding fiber lines.
Timeline: 18 weeks.
Step 3 – Construction
Bury fiber cable underground and string it from poles to build the network that connects homes to our fiber hut.
Timeline: 14 weeks.
Step 4 – Splicing
Splice the necessary cables at each end point and mount splices in enclosures secured to distribution poles.
Timeline: 14 weeks.
Step 5 – Service Drop
Extend the fiber cable from the nearest splice point to the area receiving service.
Timeline: 6 weeks.
Step 6 – Drop Splicing
This final outdoor step in a fiber construction project gets the network ready to be connected to homes and businesses.
Timeline: 6 weeks.
Step 7 – Installation
Once the fiber network is ready, the team will hook up homes and businesses to receive high-speed internet service.
